At time of writing this policy, no content on this website is paid or sponsored content. I believe in honesty of opinion, beliefs and experiences. As such, the views and opinions expressed on this website are purely my own.
When using my website, I have an optional email subscription service for you to receive updates on my blog. Should you choose to sign up, you will be asked to provide me with certain personally identifiable information in order for me to contact you. The information may include:
• Email Address
• First Name and/or Last Name
• Usage Data
Usage data is collected automatically when you subscribe. This may include information such as your device’s Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type and version, the pages of my website that you visited, the time spent on those pages and other diagnostic data.
When visitors leave comments on my website, the data shown in the comments form is collected, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
All photos and text on this website are copyright with all rights reserved to me (Lizzy Davis), unless otherwise mentioned or credited.
Redistribution and use with modification is strictly prohibited, however I do allow redistribution without modification, providing that the following conditions are met:
• Photos and text must not be altered in anyway.
• Visible and appropriate credit must be attributed. This can be a caption below any photos or text with my name.
• In digital format, an active link to this website must be provided.
• My photos must not be used to endorse or promote products without specific prior written permission.
Should you use any of my content, please contact me at email@example.com to let me know you have shared my work! Additionally, I can be contacted at the above email address with any usage related questions or concerns.
Failure to comply with the above may result in a cease and desist order to stop illegal usage. Further failure to cooperate will lead to a copyright infringement lawsuit.
If you leave a comment on my website you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you visit my login page, a temporary cookie will be set to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, several cookies will also be set up to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
Articles on my website may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website. Some of my content may also contain links to other websites not operated by or associated with me.
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email. I do not share data with any other websites or affiliates as of this time.
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so any follow-up comments can be recognized and approved automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on my website (if any), the personal information they provide in their user profile is stored. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
