LATEST IN THE BLOG
Well, I was getting ready to post some photos from In Flames live at Carolina Rebellion last month when my boyfriend (also a live music photographer) stumbled across the news that they are releasing a signature craft Gin today. Coincidental timing!
Back to the point… When I was in my teens, I discovered the awesomeness that is melodic metal. In Flames Whoracle album was within those discoveries. I listened to them for a couple years, then they drifted off my radar for some time. After the release of their 12th studio album Battles last November, they started popping up on nearby tours and festivals. I gave the new album a listen, and low and behold, I rekindled my love of In Flames.
Though I saw In Flames live in November at Kink Fest in Orlando, the experience at the major festivals was significantly different. I’m going to guess that larger crowds meant more interaction and more energy to feed off of.
Every member looked in high spirits as they exchanged playful faces with the fans while running back and forth across the stage.
In Flames is back over in Europe and England now, but I’m looking forward to keeping up with whatever they do next!
