This gallery is somewhat of a continuation of my Amon Amarth from Carolina Rebellion post where I babbled on about how epic Viking metal is. You may have noticed I mentioned something about a sword and shield battle. One of the minor downfalls of working a festival is the non-stop running around you are doing. Unfortunately meaning, I missed out on that battle scene at Rebellion. Lesson learned. Plan better for Amon Amarth at Rock on the Range!
I got to the Zippo Stage right on time to catch the members come out on stage. Again, they were equipped with the infamous Viking ship and eye catching backdrops.
As typical, it didn’t take long for the hair flips and metal to kick into full gear.
Throughout the entire festival run, Amon Amarth consistently pulled one of the biggest crowds on the side stage.
No surprise there, who wouldn’t want to witness the following battle?
…Are you not entertained?!
